Angela Timashenka Geiger is a lifetime member and proud President of the Pitt Alumni Association. A proven visionary strategist and leader with an established pedigree in innovation, mission delivery, marketing, fundraising, belonging, advocacy, and operational excellence in the nonprofit sector. She knows the critical importance of volunteer leadership and support to further mission goals. She most recently served as President and CEO of Autism Speaks, was the Chief Strategy Officer of the Alzheimer’s Association and held multiple leadership roles at the American Cancer Society. Currently, she is the Founder and Principal of BrainsOn Counsel, where she provides executive counsel to nonprofit C-suite leadership.
Her pursuit of advancing cause and cure organizations has taken her all over the country, but Pitt remains her true home. It isn’t just where she had her first full-time job as Assistant Director, Pitt Ambassadors while simultaneously earning her B.A. in three years; it’s also where she later met her husband, Richard Geiger (A&S ’93, GSPIA ’95). They have been involved in all the cities they have lived in and even served as Co-Presidents of the Chicago Pitt Club.
